Robert L. TatumFuneral services for Robert L. Tatum will be held Thursday, January 26, 2017, at 11:00 a.m. at Centuries Memorial Funeral Home. A visitation will be held before the service starting at 10:00 a.m. Following the service Mr. Robert will be laid to rest in Centuries Memorial Park.Robert was born on July 14, 1943 in Girard, Louisiana to the late Ollie T. Tatum and the late Katie Lee Kitchens Tatum. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served two tours in Vietnam. He enjoyed spending time fishing and most of all sharing memories with his family. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.He is survived by his wife Betty Tatum of Shreveport; his children, Bobby Tatum with wife Renee of Texas, Billy Tatum with wife Julie of Arizona, Steve Tatum of West Monroe, and Melissa Sanderlin of Dunn; his Brothers, Ray Tatum, Sidney Tatum, and Richard Tatum; his Sisters, Alma Moody and Fay Kelly; along with numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his first wife, Shirley Szakaly; a brother, Thomas Tatum; and a sister Marie Streeter.
