Robert Lee Braxton "Tubb" began his life journey on December 2, 1946. Robert was preceded in life's journey by his father Frederick Braxton, Sr., mother Mary Burnette Braxton, brother Wilbur Braxton, sister Doreatha Bell and son Leslie M. Braxton. Tubb leaves to continue their journey, his wife Cheryl, daughter Karen and son Robert LaTodd, sisters Joyce Cannon and Nancy Levi, brother Reverend Frederick Braxton, Jr., six grandchildren: Tarsheria Smithers, Leslie Monte' Crawley, Marcquis Braxton, David Swaby, Isaiah Vega, and Nehemiah Braxton; three great-grandchildren, Christian Smithers, Adryn Crawley, and Olivia June Crawley and a host of nieces and nephews, cousins and other relatives. Tubb was educated in the Richmond Public School System at Armstrong High School and later attended Virginia Union University. He served four years in the U.S. Army working as an Offset Printer Technician until he retired. Robert was a loving husband, father, and "papa" as the grand and great-grandchildren called him.
