Robert Hester , 73, of Buffalo, NewRobert Hester transitioned from this life on May 20th, 2023. Robert was born February 17th 1960, to Charlene Hester, in Buffalo, New York.

As a young child, Robert took interest in sports; particularly football, being a lifelong fan of the Buffalo Bills. Even at a young age, you could find Robert being a friend to the friendless. He loved helping people in whatever ways he could. This trait followed him for the rest of his life.

Robert would then begin his career in academia in the Buffalo Public Schools System, graduating from

Kensington High school. Robert was highly involved in many programs, sports, initiatives, and activities. He was a member of the football team and a series of in-school programs. Robertconcluded his high school career by graduating top half in the Kensington HS Class of 1978.

Robert didn’t go to college, but he began working for General Motors building a family. He helped bring three souls into the world: Jalen Hester, Jennifer Jester and Demari Hester.

Robert’s son, Demari, took flight prior to Robert’s transition.

Left to cherish fond memories and continue his grand legacy is his loving mother, CherrylClemons, His son, Jalen Hester and his daughter, Jennifer Hester.

We will miss the jewel that was Robert Hester. We will miss phone conversations, text messages, special lunches, and father and friend. His legacy will live on through us all. We will always love and cherish, a man who’s love and strength with last through time and within our hearts, Robert Hester.
