Robert Hernandez LUBBOCK-Service for Robert Hernandez, 62 of Lubbock will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2016, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church with Father Johnathan Phillips officiating. Interment will be held in Peaceful Gardens Memorial Park under direction of Guajardo Funeral Chapels. Friends and family are invited to pray the rosary at 7 p.m., today, Monday, Nov. 14, 2016, at Guajardo Funeral Chapels. He passed away on Nov. 11, 2016, at UMC surrounded by his loving family. Robert was born on Sept. 7, 1954, in Matador, Texas, to his late father; Gregorio Hernandez and his mother; Mercedes (DeLeon) Hernandez. He married Maria Osuna on April 8, 1978, in Ralls, Texas. Robert was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He loved spending time with his family. His passions were hunting with his son; Ryan and dancing with is daughter; Tami. He loved playing with his grandkids. Robert loved doing mechanic work with his friends. Survivors include his wife, Maria Hernandez; daughter, Tami (Monty) Molinar; a son, Ryan Hernandez (Kelbi Carson); four grandsons, Elijah Hernandez, Diego and Drake Molinar, Greyson Hernandez; one granddaughter, Mylah Molinar; his mother, Mercedes Hernandez; one brother, Thomas Hernandez; and three sisters, Gloria DelaGarza, Christina Saenz and Susie Lopez. Mr. Hernandez is preceded in death by his father, Gregorio Hernandez; and one brother, Fred Hernandez.
