Rita Mae JeppesenBrigham City - Rita Mae Craghead Jeppesen, 83, passed away on Sunday, October 5, 2014.Rita was born on March 28, 1931 in Brigham City, Utah a daughter of William H. and Uranis G. Peterson Craghead. She graduated from Box Elder High School.Rita married Bennett S. Jeppesen on April 14, 1951 in Brigham City, Utah.She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.Rita enjoyed going camping, quilting, knitting, and Japanese bunka embroidery which she won many ribbons at the Box Elder County Fair.Surviving are her husband Bennett, children: Patricia (Patty) Barker, Rex Bennett (June) Jeppesen, Daniel Angus Jeppesen, daughter-in-law Sue Jeppesen, 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, also siblings Maxine Fonnsbeck, Dennis Craghead, LeRoy Craghead and Robert Craghead.Preceded in death by her son Bruce Kay Jeppesen, son-in-law John E. Barker.Funeral services will be Friday, October 10, 2014 at 1 p.m. at Myers Mortuary Chapel, 205 S. 100 East, Brigham City, Utah.Friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday from 12 to 12:40 p.m. at the Mortuary.Interment will be in the Brigham City Cemetery.Condolences may be sent to the family at www.myers-mortuary.com.
