RICHARD RUSSELL BURESCH (Age 63)  

Of Manassas, VA died while hunting in Shenandoah County, VA on Saturday, November 19, 2016. Richard was born on October 12, 1953 in Buffalo, NY, son of the late Russell Julian Buresch and Lydia Cora Liebermann Buresch. He was a retired DC Canine Officer with the Metropolitan Police Department and then worked with the Department of Justice.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Gaylia April Johnson Buresch and a daughter, Angela Bell-Miller.

Survivors include his daughter, Jaime Morgan (Stephen); brother, Karl Buresch; sister, Kathy Curnew (James); three grandchildren, Jakob, Angela and Cora; and nephew, Zachary. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 25, 2016 at 4 p.m. at Pierce Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 9609 Center Street, Manassas, VA with the family receiving friends from 2 to 4 p.m. Interment will take place at Stafford Memorial Park on Saturday at 11 a.m.
