Rachel Wright left heaven and came to earth on January 25, 1950 to Joshua and Dorothy Keaton Whiting of Robbinsville New Jersey. She went home to be with her Lord and Savior on November 10th, 2022 in Richmond, Virginia.

Rachel was educated in the Robbinsville/Allentown school district. Rachel had an Associate Degree and several certificates in Office Management. She was employed by IBM and Mennen. Rachel retired from the State of New Jersey due to health reasons.

Rachel was baptized as a young child at Robbinsville 's First Baptist Church and in later years became a member of St. Johns Baptist Church. After moving to Virginia, she became a disciple of Fairfield Baptist Church, where she dedicated her time and energy to the Missionary Ministry and the Golden Saints Senior Ministry.

Rachel had a heart of gold and would do anything to help someone. This was very evident in her missionary endeavors. Rachel served actively in every church she was a member of, attending Missionary Conferences and other activities when her health permitted.

Rachel loved plants, traveling, helping others, taking walks and wearing little heels before health complications. She also loved nature, horses, dressing up, laughter and had unconditionally loved for her family and people in general.

Rachel leaves to cherish her memories 4 daughters, Wanda Kent of Elizabeth, NJ, Karen (Brian) Thornton of North Chesterfield, VA; Deborah Grier, Jean(Wayne) Winkcler of Ewing, NJ,· a son Walter (Patty) Kent of Freemont, NE; 10 grandchildren, Justin, Amie, Latoyna, Antoinette "Nicole", Michael, Walter, Jazzmen "Jazzy", Destiny, Briahna, Jaylen; 22 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild; 2 sisters, Evelyn Gorden of Hamilton, NJ, Brenda (Sam) Floyd of Burlington NJ,· 2 brothers, Joshua Whiting Jr. of Hamilton, NJ and Donald Whiting of Ewing, NJ; a special friend Jesse Grier of Ewing, NJ and a host of other relatives and friends
