Priya Singh, 56, of Chicago, Illinois, passed unexpectedly August 25th 2022. She lived with selfless dignity, surrounded by her family and friends. Priya was an incredible and giving woman, mother, wife, daughter, friend, aunt, sister and cousin. Her family and faith were her world.

Priya was born on March 7th, 1964 to Jay and Anita Soni in Trenton, NJ. Wendy loved the beach and mountains and split her free time between the two. She was also an avid sports fan, mainly when her children or nieces and nephews played! After graduating from High School, Priya attended Widener University. It was at Widener that she graduated with a degree in Business Management focused on Human Resources; she went on to work as an Executive Level Recruiter in Chicago.

During her childhood in Trenton, Wendy met her future husband and best friend, Karan Singh. Married in 1992, Priya and Karan found a perfect neighborhood, such as the one they had as children, to raise a family. Priya and Karan went on to have three children; Ana, Summer, and Jason. Being a mother was Priya's priority and focus. The results of this dedication live on in her children.

Services will be held at Chicago Funeral Home , on Saturday, September 3rd 2022. Visitation will be from 10:30-11:30am, with a service for family and friends at 11:30am and a luncheon to follow.
