Phyllis Ann McQuaidZANESVILLE: Phyllis Ann McQuaid, 75, of Zanesville went Home to be with the Lord on Saturday March 15, 2014. Phyllis was born on September 6, 1938 in Zanesville to the late Harry and Helen Scoles Brown. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, Rosary Alter Society and Bereavement Dinner Committee. She retired from B & H Carpet in sales after 21 years. She enjoyed reading, gardening, traveling and had a special love for all animals. She will be remembered for her compassion for others.She will be sadly missed by her beloved children, Douglas (Robin) McQuaid, Jill Beckert; and a grandson, Nathan Beckert all of Zanesville.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Chad McQuaid who passed away on July 1, 1988; a brother, Robert Brown; and three sisters: Betty Brown, Lenora Martin, and Lou Moody.Memorial Contributions may be made to the Muskingum County Animal Shelter 1430 Newark Road Zanesville, Ohio 43701.Visitation will be from 11am-12pm on Thursday March 20, at THE SNOUFFER FUNERAL HOME 1150 WEST MILITARY ROAD ZANESVILLE.
