She married Steve Lomax in 1971, and they lived together in Detroit, Michigan. Together they raised 3 children Tryphina Lomax-Wingfield (Eddie Wingfield), Tina Price (Reginald Price), Steve Lomax. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren Keara Jones, Laurice Lomax, Jason Lomax, and Andrea Lomax.

Penny worked at Baker until he retired in 31 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
