On April 28, 2025, Otis Barnes of Chicago, Illinois, passed away at the age of 70. He was born on April 4, 1955, to his mother Louise Barnes.

Otis is survived by his four children, Kamilah, Kendrick, Marcus, and Rickiea. He also leaves behind one beloved grandchild.

Throughout his life, Otis worked as a Mechanic until his retirement in 2015. One of his favorite pastimes was fishing, where he found peace and joy in the great outdoors.

Though Otis may be gone, his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Rest in peace, Otis.
