In Loving Memory
Olga "Speedy" Santiago, 59, of Boston, Massachusetts, peacefully passed away on September 27, 2022, surrounded by her loved ones. Olga was born on February 26, 1963, in Villaba, Puerto Rico. Devoted daughter to Maria Laboy Vasquez & the deceased Manuel Santiago. Sister of the deceased Nilda, Carmen, and Santito, and survived by Myra, Rosa, Norma, Clary, Manuel "Tito", & Miguel. Olga was also the loving mother to her only son Emmanuel Santiago.
Though she left this life far too soon, Olga was strong and resilient as she fought through multiple illnesses such as being a breast cancer survivor.
Olga was a thoughtful, caring, and kind woman. She dedicated her life to putting others first always. Olga worked many years in early childhood as a chef for her local community daycare. Neighborhood friends and family would describe her as the heart and soul of Mission Hill.
Her love for Boston sports was unwavering, she had every jersey, hat, memorabilia to support all Boston teams. Her favorites were the New England Patriots and Boston Red Sox.
Although she did not have any grandchildren, her son's dog, Louie, was her pride and joy. She loved Louie more than life itself, and the feelings were certainly mutual.
Please help in joining us for the celebration of life for Olga aka Speedy Santiago on Sunday October 2nd, 2022, at Casper Funeral Home located at 187 Dorchester St Boston, MA 02127 from 1 pm to 4 pm.
