Nikita L. Cobb RACINE Son of the late Alvis and Juliette (Chew) Cobb, was born on November 21, 1963, in Racine, Wisconsin. In his youth, Nikita accepted Christ, and was baptized at St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. He attended Case High School, and later served seven years in the United States Army, receiving an honorable discharge. Nikita was a member of the NAACP, Racine Branch. He was also self-employed as a real estate and property manager in Racine and Milwaukee. In his leisure time, Nikita enjoyed playing dominoes, fishing and watching sports. More than anything, he cherished spending time with his family and friends. He passed away on Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at his residence, and will be dearly missed. Loving survivors include his mother, Juliette Cobb; sisters: Maggie Cobb, Betty (Grice) Williams, Racine, WI and Connie (Steve) Madsen, McCalla, AL. He is further survived by children: Nikia (Karnarda) Slaughter, Fishers, IN, Nitoria Cobb, St. Paul, MN, Devaughn Cobb, Black River Falls, WI, Nikolas Cobb and Syniah Cobb, Racine, WI; six grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. Nikita was preceded in death by his father, Alvis Cobb, Sr., brother Alvis Cobb, Jr, and granddaughter, Ke'Layah Cobb-Oliver. Services are Mon., Dec. 8, 2014, at 11:00 a.m., St. Paul M.B.
