Nazir Wallace, a spirited, humble, and loving soul, was born in Boston, Massachusetts on February 4, 2004, and departed far too soon on December 2, 2025. Nazir leaves behind a legacy of joy, kindness, and unwavering love that touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Born to Ketra Densie Tatum of Boston, MA, and Kairi Wallace of Philadelphia, PA, Nazir was a devoted son, a loving brother, and a proud uncle. He shared a deep bond with his sisters, Charkezia and Rajeh, his brother Charkeem, and his beloved niece Italy, who brought him endless joy. He delighted in playing with Italy, babysitting her, and creating countless cherished memories that will forever live in the hearts of his family.
Nazir’s life was full of energy, curiosity, and warmth. From a young age his parents ensured he was involved in extracurricular activities, including football, basketball and Taekwondo, where he learned discipline, perseverance, and the importance of teamwork. Even as a student, he showed remarkable determination he vowed to go back to school, and through his hard work, he completed his education through the Cambridge Public Schools High School Extension Program, a milestone he carried with immense pride.
Beyond his achievements, Nazir’s personality shined brightly in every moment. As a baby, he had an amusing obsession with pacifiers, and his parents would often go “bananas” trying to find one. Nazir’s love for pacifiers became legendary in the household as a baby, to the point he had enough to stock what felt like a corner store! It was his comfort, his soothing, and his way of relaxing with something small that brought him big peace.
Whether he was helping a friend, sharing a laugh, or simply lighting up a room with his infectious smile, Nazir had a way of making life brighter for everyone around him. He was a true “mama’s boy,” though he rarely admitted it, and his siblings would lovingly tease him about it for years. His deep love for his family was evident in everything he did. Thoughtful, caring, and always ready to lend a hand or a kind word, Nazir’s playful spirit, charm, and generosity made him unforgettable. Cool, smooth, and effortlessly charming; his unique personality was truly his signature.
Nazir will be profoundly missed, not only by his family but also by all who had the honor of knowing him. His life was a testament to love, courage, and joy, and the memories he created, both big and small, will live on in the hearts of all who loved him.
He leaves behind his loving mother, Ketra Tatum, and his father, Kairi Wallace; his three eldest sisters, Charkezia, Rajeh, and Courtney; his two eldest brothers, Charkeem and Qudeaire his late grandmothers (Hermetta & Janice), Grandfather’s (Kv & Harold), his cherished niece Italy; his brothers-in-law, Jayson and Derrick; his three uncles, Torrie, Derrek, and Marco; his aunts, Keisha and Trina; and his godmother, Tammy. Nazir is also survived by a host of cousins, extended family members, friends, and all who were blessed to know and love him. Each of them carries a piece of his light, his laughter, and his unforgettable spirit.
May his soul rest in eternal peace.
