Muriel Mimi Joan Charles, 70, passed on to be with the Lord on January 10, 2023. She was born to The late Lawrence Duplessis and The late Maude Duplessis on August 01, 1952.

She was the companion of Lionel Blanchard and she lived in Houston Tx ,Muriel raised 9 children Mary Charles (Rodney ), Reginald Charles , Katina Charles (Allen), Yashakia Charles (Dean ), Roderick Charles (Clarissa ), Kelly Charles , Chrispon Charles (Valerie Charles ), Lakeisha Charles (Nicoltes ), The late Frederick Charles . She also leaves to cherish 24 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren 

Muriel graduated from L .E Robuin High School in 1970 and received a degree from the Houston Community College Pharmacy Technician in 2009.

Muriel worked at Housekeeper Marriott New Orleans and Park Plaza Hospital in Houston Tx and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.Muriel survived by her 5 sisters Gwendolyn Jackson,Maude Smith,Iris Duplessis,Barbara Duplessis,Larverne Tate, Wanda Charles she also proceed in death 2 brothers Lawrence Duplessis,Mervin Duplessis and a host of nieces and nephew family and friends are invited to attend the Celebration Of Life service
