In Loving Memory

“But there are new heavens and a new earth that we are awaiting according to his promise, and in these, righteousness is to dwell.”

2 Peter 3:13

Monica Jackson was born on July 28, 1967 in Cleveland, Ohio. She was the first of two children born to Fred and Catherine Wright.

She graduated from John F. Kennedy High School in 1985.

Monica was known to be a hard worker all the way up until 2004 when she fell ill and could not work any longer. Then she became the very best home-maker she could be for her husband and children.

Monica dedicated her life to Jehovah God, and was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, on July 24, 2010. From that day forth, Monica wanted to serve Jehovah to the best of her ability. Although limited by her illness, she witnessed to the medical staff while in the hospital, and also, when at the Dialysis Center. She would also leave Magazines, Tracts, and Brochures for others to read.

Monica was introduced to Eric by his sister CJ while working at Po' Folks Restaurant. On January 27,1989 Monica and Eric married. They enjoyed 32 years of marriage! From the day of their union up to the present, there were only THREE days, out of there 32+ years of being together, that they did they not see each other. They had an unbreakable, loving bond.

In her spare time, Monica loved taking long rides with Eric through the Metro Parks. She also loved, loved, loved, a fresh medium rare Ribeye Steak off the grill. If she had leftovers, she would gross out her husband by slapping that steak on 2 pieces of bread with Mayo, and would tell him, “this is my food!!!

Monica leaves to cherish her beautiful memory, her loving husband Eric; her son, Aaron; a daughter, Brandee; her parents, Fred & Catherine Wright; one sibling, her brother Sean; her dear aunt, Betty Brown; three grandchildren, Arnez and Lela Wright; & Janet Monique Green. Also a host of nearly nine million spiritual Brother's & Sisters!
