Michael Jackson was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to Ruby and the late John Jackson Sr. on December 8, 1960. Michael was the youngest of five siblings and grew up with Steve, John, Paul and James (Stokes). He was educated in the Philadelphia School System. Michael met, fell in love, and married his childhood sweetheart Lisa Frazier and from that union they had three children, Michael Jr., Kylisha, and Lisa.

Mike enjoyed playing football and developed talented football skills. He had a passion for fixing and maintaing 1970 muscle cars with his brothers. Mike loved to barbeque, or as he called it "smoke some meat." He also cooked various recipes and shared it with some of the older friends in the congregation. Mike enjoyed sports, swimming and reading his bible literature while in the park.

Mike worked various jobs in the hotel industry. He later delved into his passion for cooking, attending culinary training school and became a Chef. Also, he worked part-time for a Airport Shuttle Service. He was well-known for being friendly, helpful and ready to assist when needed. Even when he became ill his desire was to keep working.

Mike added great joy to his life when he symbolized his dedication to Jehovah on December 31, 2017. He attended the Cobbs Creek congregation and was happy serving Jehovah. He had a strong love for Jehovah and his spiritual brothers and sisters. He habitually arrived early to the Kingdom Hall to enjoy association with the friends. Despite his illness, he was determined to have a active share in the ministry and attend his meetings via zoom until his demise. Mike was very fond of Manny Mansaray who aided him tremendously with support and spiritual guidance.

Mike was shy and quiet at times. Occasionally, having unpredictable facial expressions. However, when he became more comfortable with the friends his great sense of humor was evident to all. Everyone who knew Mike had a story to tell. Whether he was preparing and/or sharing a meal with you, giving you a ride, or just having a conversation. It was certainly a joy when he would display that warm friendly personality and beautiful smile. Even though, Mike was experiencing hardship with his health, his firm faith in the hope of God’s Paradise earth brought him much joy. He will be dearly missed.

Michael leaves behind to cherish his memory, his children Mike Jr., Kylisha, and Lisa; His mother Ruby Jackson; Father John Jackson (Predeceased); Siblings Steve, John, Paul and James. Also honoring his memory are a host of grandchildren, nieces, nephews, aunts, cousins and other family and friends, too many to mention.

You can to the family or in memory of Michael Jackson.
