Melvin Boyd, 68, passed on June 25, 2021. He was born to Edward Boyd and Anna-Lee Boyd in Memphis, Tennessee on June 10, 1953.

He married Charlene Boyd in 2006 and they lived together in Memphis, Tennessee. Together they raised 3 children Tommie Boyd (Charlene Boyd), Lionel Boyd (Charlene Boyd), Kendra Martin (Charlene Boyd). He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.

Melvin graduated from Booker T. Washington High School in 1971.

Melvin worked at Dot Transportation until he retired in 1989 and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people.
