Mary Brunson , 66, of Virginia Beach, Virginia, passed on March 03, 2023. Mary was born on September 19, 1956, in Sentra Leigh Hospital.

She was a member of the St. Mark R.Z.U.A. Church she worked as an LPN at Norfolk General Hospital and went on to retire from U.S. Public Health Service Hospital. She was born in Hereford County, N.C, to the late Bud and Patrice Brunson and was predeceased by her brother, Charlie Brunson.

She leaves to cherish her memory her husband, Jay Allen jr. Of the home; two daughters, Pat Jenkins and Barbara Goodmen, both of Norfolk; four sons Curtis and Charles Williams of Norfolk, William James of Florida and Richard James of Virginia Beach; four daughters-in-law; two sons-in-law; and 22 grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 3pm Saturday at St.Mark R.Z.U.A church by rev Theodore Lewis. Burial will be in Roosevelt Memorial Cemetery. Viewing will be from 4to8 pm today at Carlos A Howard funeral home, Norfolk Chapel. The Family will assemble at 2pm Saturday at 3150 Fairview st., apt 101, for procession.
