Marvin Edward Nixon, 61, of Fayetteville, NC passed Monday, May 22, 2017 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.

Mr. Nixon was a United States Army Veteran.

He is survived by his son and daughters: Marvin Nixon Jr., Laki Nixon, Bricknie and Renee Richardson of Broadway. He also leaves to honor his memory his brothers and sisters: Bobby Nixon of Fayetteville, Michael Nixon Sr., Martin Nixon, Milton Nixon, Victor Cameron, Alexander Cameron, James Thomas Nixon and Andrew Nixon all of Fayetteville; Joyce Walker, Jackie Nixon both of Columbus, Ga. and William Nixon of Charlotte.  He is also survived by twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at 10:30am at Williams Chapel Church in Spring Lake with Apostle Kimberly Nixon officiating. Burial will follow in the Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery at Fort Bragg.
