Marilyn N. Strasburg1938 ~ 2016Marilyn Newbold Strasburg passed away on October 31, 2016 in Murray, Utah. She was born on January 18, 1938 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She graduated from Jordan High School and attended Brigham Young University. She was an accomplished florist. She was never afraid to speak her mind and gave advice freely. She was a good cook and prepared some creative dishes. Her door was always open for friends or family who needed a place to stay.She is survived by her children: J. Dennis Fuhriman, MaryLynn Fuhriman, Jonathan (Debra) Fuhriman, and Micheal J. Fuhriman; sister, Sherma Brown; eight grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents William H. Newbold and Dorthea Bull; stepfather, Doug Bull; and brother, William Stewart Newbold.A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 5, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Mortuary, 4760 South State Street, Murray, Utah.
