The Matriach of our family; Marie Capraro Volonnino, 98, entered into eternal rest on March 01, 2022. Daughter of the late Giuseppe Capraro and Assunta Rubino Capraro, she was born on February 20, 1924 in New York City. Marie is predeceased by her two brothers Antonio Capraro and Carmine Carpraro.

She married Salvatore Volonnino and they lived together in the Bronx, New York; Mr. Volonnino preceded her in death. Together they raised 2 daughters Lorraine Volonnino Romero (Richard Romero) and Lydia Volonnino Visione (Thomas Visione). She is also survived by her 3 grandchildren, Lila Altomari Gibson (Kevin Gibson), Michele Visione McDermott (Christopher McDermott), Jennifer Visione (Brian McKenna) and 5 great grandchildren, Nicolas Gibson, Tyler Gibson, Thomas McDermott, Ashley McDermott, Stella McDermott and many neices and nephews. Her family was very important to her and she cheished everyone in it.
