Maria De La Luz Bernal Ortiz, 41, passed on November 15, 2021. She was born to Jesus Bernal and Julia Bernal in San Juan de Guadalupe, Durango on May 20, 1980. 

Maria was a friend to all. If anyone needed a hand or needed advise she was the one who they went to. She was an excellent wife, mother, & grandma. 

She was with Edgar Martinez and they were together for 26 years and they lived together in Dallas, Texas. Together they raised 4 children Juliet Martinez, Melanie Martinez, Guadalupe Martinez, Jacqueline Martinez. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren Aiden, Evelyn, Matteo, & Jr.
