Affectionately known as Pooh Was born on June 13, 1978 to Joyce and stoddard And Marcellus spriggs Sr. Marcellus was educated in the district of Columbia public school system He played mini athletic sports but Was very proud of his gogo band from his younger days called ‘Young experience a band ‘

Marcellus had a passion for music and would sing and rap for anybody that would listen Marcellus graduated from Spingarn high in 1996 Marcellus then moved to New Jersey to pursue his cooking passion and remained in New Jersey for several years Before returning to his hometown to continue his career as a chef Marcellus ultimately got a position as a lead chef at Levi’s restaurant where he worked until the store closed Marcellus also worked at McDonald’s Where he had employee of the month Something he was very proud of Marcellus has always been the life of the party very affectionate and loving to all who met him though Marcellus had several siblings he was very close to his younger brothers Kareem and Omar Marcellus has always been family oriented a wanted a big family and he cherished his kids with everything in him always laughing and joking with something to say 

Marcellus leaves to cherish five beautiful children Joyel spriggs diamond spriggs Mariah spriggs Israel spriggs and Christian Bell And one grandson Isaiah spriggs Four sisters maria Ebony Mary and Africa 5 brothers Kareem Omar Gary Taurus Theodore 

Marcellus is preceded in death by his mom Joyce ann stoddard and his brother Marcus spriggs
