Mable Jean Hewitt, age 75, passed away Monday morning, December

7, 2020, at Mount Sanai Hospital. She was born March 12, 1942, in Jackson, Mississippi as daughter of the

late George James and Margaret Jane Worthy. She later in life married Charles A. Worthy in 1963 at the age of 21 and had six children with

him. Mable Jean was a Christian who accepted Christ at a very young age. Mable Jean played a big part in Sunrise Baptist Church on the

usher board. She was very loving and will truly be missed. She left behind three sons, John Worthy, Patrick Worthy, and Darryl Worthy;

three daughters, Pamela Worthy and Barbara Worthy and Annette Worthy; 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. She enjoyed arts,

crafts and spending time with her children and grandchildren. She also leaves many other family members and friends who will sadly

miss her.
