Louis Giozza Obituary

Sep 29, 1927 - Aug 03, 2015

This obituary is administered by:

Our father, Louis J. Giozza, the son of Swiss and Italian immigrants, departed this world peacefully surrounded by his family on August 3, 2015. Louis was 87 years young, having a sense of humor until the end. His loving wife, Juanita Cunningham Giozza, passed away in 2013. Together they owned and worked side by side in several local restaurants and other ventures.

Louis was born on September 29, 1927 in Gonzales, CA joining his late sister Elda Giozza Bright on the family's dairy. Their mother was Pace Beltraminelli from Bellizona, Switzerland, and their father was John Giozza from Montecrestese, Italy.

On the Giozza Dairy, Louis developed a love for all animals, winemaking, hard work and simple family gatherings and meals. He was famous for his polenta and stew which was a favorite at their many restaurants.

Louis is survived by his daughter, Pat Moses Cubbage (John) of Salinas and son, Doyle Moses (Mary) of Carmel Valley, eight grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great, great grandchildren, cousins in King City, CA; Italy and Switzerland.

Juanita and Louis were simply the best parents and grandparents.
