Mr. Lonnie DeWayne Hill was born May 13th, 1947, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Larry Don and Mary Diane Ellis-Hill. He departed his life at Baptist Memorial on December 18th, 2018.

At an eaely age, he confessed a hope in Christ at Belmont in Nashville, TN. He later moved his membership to Evangelist Baptist in Memphis, TN and answered his calling as a Pastor at 13 years old.

Lonnie leaves to cherish his most precious memories with Debra Lee Mason-Hill, a loving wife and best friend of fourty-four years and his fruitful legacy: one son, Brian DeWayne Hill and four daughters, McKenzie Aneice Mason, Sylvia Berneice Hill, Vernette Rena Hill and also Leia Kennedy Hill. His siblings; Donnie Larry Wright (deceased), Malcolm Henry Hill and Sophia Lucy Hill. Ten grandchildren of Memphis, TN, Cassie Mason, Tevin Mason, Levon Hill, Columbia Hill, Shniekqua Hill, Joseph Turner, Randy Bailey, L'Kyran Bailey, L'Carlos Bailey, and Shanaria Bailey. Four son in laws and one daughter in law and a host of relatives and friends.
