Lily Deere-Reed, 61 of Toppenish, Washington, passed Saturday, January 04, 2020. Lily was born to Terrell Deere, and Pearlie Mae Deere, January 30, 1958 in Toppenish, Washington. She married Theodore McAlister 1977-1990, Later marrying Bill Reed in 2007, and they lived together in Fresno California.

Lily was the youngest of six children, she attended Madera High, and Fresno Community College. She was 23 when she began her career in Truck driving. She enjoyed exploring the world and taking on new adventures.

She was a tremendously gifted vocalist, musician and poet sharing her talents and compositions, as well as dancing. And, her quick wit always kept you laughing!


Lily is survived by 1 child and 4 grandchildren: Son Shawn McAlister and daughter-in-law Desheicka Taylor. Her grandchildren Nashajay McAlister, Donaven Deere, Lazaya Deere, Jaden Deere and many friends whom she cherished.

Memorial Service will be held Saturday, January 18,2020 at 12:00 p.m. at St. Rest Baptist Church 1550 E Rev Chester Riggins Ave, Fresno, CA 93706.

A life well-lived cannot be diminished by death.

The beauty, guidance, and inspiration it gave us will shine on as brightly as ever.
