Lawrence "Larry" Derosiers Sr. after a long battle with colon cancer passed away at home surrounded by his loving family on Nov. 17, 2016 in East Hartford CT at the age of 55. Larry is survived by his loving wife Rose Marie Derosiers; his son, Lawrence Derosiers Jr. and girlfriend Rebecca Reyes; his daughter Jessica Marie Ellison and husband Noah Matthew Ellison, their children Trevor Joseph Gworek, Haylee Elise Gworek and Brantley Mathew Lawrence Ellison; his son Devin Stephen Mandak Derosiers; his sister Lena Marie Keith and husband Kevin Keith and their children Brendan Joseph Keith and fiance Carole Vivieros, Zachary Dillon Keith and Alexis Nicole Keith; his brother Claude Kenneth Derosiers and his husband James Barbari; and many in-laws and friends. He is preceded in death by his mother Muguette Florette Derosiers and father Alphe Joseph Derosiers. He was born on July 27, 1961 in Hartford, CT to Alphe and Muguette Derosiers. The family moved to East Hartford in 1977 and he graduated from East Hartford High School in 1979. He worked over 15 years in the insert department at the Hartford Courant in Hartford, then at Meyer Gauge in South Windsor and Turbocare in Manchester. He married Rose Santerre on August 21, 2010 and was at his best when playing with his grandchildren, Trevor and Haylee. Larry was passionate about the outdoors, he loved fishing, hunting and boating, as well as having tag sales during the spring and summer, where he sold many a fishing rod, tackle and lures. He was an active and dedicated member of the Rockville Fish and Game club and was a generous individual who was always willing to help anyone in need.
