Baumann, Lawrence "Larry"Lawrence "Larry" Baumann, 77, Green Bay, died peacefully Monday, January 16, 2017 with his family at his side. He was born on November 9, 1939, in Green Bay to Richard A. and Bernice L. (Eggers) Baumann.Larry graduated from Green Bay West High School, Class of 1958. He served with the U.S. Navy from 1958 to 1963 as a fire control technician on the first nuclear missile cruiser. After the service, Larry was employed by Fort Howard Paper Company for 36 years. On August 20, 1966, he married Kay Hagen at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Green Bay. Larry was a member of the Kaukauna Elks Lodge #962, and the Grumpy Old Men at Calvary Lutheran Church.He enjoyed woodworking, reading, and taking walks with his dog, Gigi. But mostly, Larry loved and cherished his family, especially his grandchildren and great-granddaughter.He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Kay; his children, Sandie Maurer, Jeff Baumann (and his fiancée, Nancy), Lori (Mike) Anthony, Amy (Tap) Pruitt Sr.; seven grandchildren, Ashley Gulley, Alex (Missy) Baumann, Julia Delvaux, Mike Baumann, Kaitlyn Naples, Michael Naples, James Haberstein; great-granddaughter, Azalia Baumann; brother, Lynn (Judy) Baumann; two sisters-in-law, Connie Baye and Fern Kelley; many nieces, nephews, friends, and his beloved canine, Gigi.Larry was preceded in death by his parents; son-in-law, Mike Naples; brothers-in-law, Don Kelley and Bernie Baye; mother-in-law, Lillian Hagen; and beloved canine, Gretta.Friends may call at Blaney Funeral Home, 1521 Shawano Ave., from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, January 19. Friends may also call at Calvary Lutheran Church, 1301 S. Ridge Rd., from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, January 20. The Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the church with Rev.
