Laura Herrera- Perez was born on January 29, 1993, to Jose and Julie Herrera. She was raised in San Antonio, Texas and attended Alamo Heights High School and South San Antonio until she graduated in 2011.
Laura excelled at everything she tried; she was an excellent wife, mother, daughter,sister and aunt. Laura loved her family and was always postive, she was an all around popular young woman who enjoyed taking care of others. Everyone who knew Laura knew that she was passionate, driven and always stood firm in her beliefs.
Laura attended Texas State, upon graduating in 2015, she moved to Houston, TX to pursue a career in nursing.
On July 11, 2016, Laura married the love of her life, Stephan Perez whom she met while in college.
In December, 2017, Laura gave birth to her first son, Gabriel Perez. In October, 2018, she gave birth to her second son, Juan Michael Perez. Laura loved being a mother and wife.
In February, 2020, Laura was diagnosed with Adrenal Cancer. She fought as hard and as bravely as she could, despite the odds set against her. Laura was with her family when she died on March 11, 2021.
