Latoya Jefferson, 54, of Denver, Colorado, passed on March 05, 2022. Latoya was born on May 08, 1967.

Musician and retired elementary school principal Latoya Jefferson love of life didn’t come to an end with her death. Latoya passed away on March 5, 2022 at the age of 54 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the fullest.

Latoya Jefferson completed her Bachelor’s degree at the University of New York. After teaching for 10 years, she went back to school to complete a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. Latoya’s pride was in her school and students, and she shared her passion for learning with thousands of children over the years.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Latoya. She loved a quiet evening with friends and a glass of wine in hand. During school breaks Latoya often explored the local hiking trails and found beauty in the spring wildflowers. She had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her daily activities. Her pleasant personality was contagious to everyone she met. Latoya Jefferson is survived by her husband, Frank; a son, Calvin; a sister, Jenny; and many cousins, nieces, and nephews. Latoya Yvonne Jefferson, 54, of Denver, Colorado, passed on March 05, 2022. She was born to Emmanuel Jefferson and Rochila Jefferson in Denver, Colorado on May 08, 1967.

Together they raised 2 children Yvonne Jefferson (daughter), lontavius Jefferson (son). She is also survived by 4 grandchildren.

Latoya graduated from Waterloo east in 1996 and received a degree from the New York university in 2001.

Latoya worked at nurse and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. In 2001, Latoya was honored with the bachelors degree.
