Landon Mason Scott, Jr., \"Jughead\" of Midlothian, departed life january 10, 2021. Landon graduated in class of 1971 from Maggie Walker High School. He later joined the United States Marine Corp. During his tenure he served in Vietnam and received decorations and badges. He was employed at the VA Hospital in the housekeeping Department until he became ill. Landon liked to watch sports on TV. His favorite team was the Redskins. He enjoyed cooking for his family and playing with the children. Landon was preceded in death by his parents, Landon M. and Juanita A. Scott; daughter, Mary Young and sister, Cynthia Griffin. Surviving are his wife, Martha M. Scott; two daughters Melissa and Angela Aretha Winkler; 10 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Shirley Garnett Wallace (James) and and Janet Scott; three brothers, Milton Scott (Jacinta), Frederick Scott (Debra) and Harold Roberts (Winnie); nieces, nephews, a host of other relatives and friends.
