Karen Richardson , 48, of Mobile, Alabama, passed on March 29, 2022. Karen was born on October 18, 1973.

Karen was the daughter of Betty Marlowe and
Johnathon (Johnny) Byrd. She was born in Mobile, Al and grew up in Creola, Al and lived most of her adult life in Mobile.

She is the mother of one daughter,
Deanna Sue Blackwell, and grandmother of two;
Zaiden-Lee Alexander Blackwell, and Davina Rain Blackwell.
She is preceded in death by her maternal
grandparents, Vernon Ellison and Elizabeth
Beckham and paternal grandparents, Owen and
Margaret Byrd.

Karen loved to travel and sight see. She was one not to settle or stay anywhere for long. She loved New Orleans, La and their jazz music and dancing. She always spoke of how much she loved the beach and collecting sea shells.

She loved to color and the smell of fresh flowers. She was a lover and shared her love with everyone she met. She never met a stranger and had several friends, one she spoke of frequently over the years was her friend Melanie Hyatt.

She will be missed by her entire family.

She truly was one of a kind.
