On Friday, July 10th, 2020, Kai Duane Bailey, loving husband and father passed away at the age of 55. Kai was born on August 27th, 1964 in Germany to Duane and Angie (Paeschke) Bailey. After being medically discharged from the Army, he married Carolyn Morris on March 3rd, 1990 and also gained his loving step-son Robert Jennings. On July 8th, 1991 he welcomed his only son, Dakota. He spent over 30 years in the printing and production industry.

There is hardly a way to succinctly describe Kai Bailey. He was passionate about so much, mainly his family which included his canine companions, music, and his Jeep. He was the type of person who made you feel like you were best friends immediately. His kindness extended to everyone whether you needed help with car troubles or moving at a moments notice. He was a collector of rock'n roll memorabilia which was displayed around his guitars in his favorite room in the house, the music room. He loved playing disc golf, kayaking, reading, football, specifically Falcons, Georgia Bulldogs and Notre Dame, Marvel Comics-Captain America especially and just hanging out with friends.  He was a kind, gentle, laid-back husband and father who wanted to give the world to those he loved.

Kai was preceded in death by his father, Duane, and mother Angie. He is survived by his wife Carolyn, son, Dakota (Erin) Bailey, step-son, Robert Jennings and sister Skarlett (Joe) Hildabrand. He also had several nieces and nephews, all of whom he loved greatly.

A private memorial service by invitation will be held July 25th, 2020.
