KINSTON – Julia Bryce Outlaw Noble of Kinston, N.C. passed away on November 18th, after an extended illness. She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Kenneth Ray Noble. Bryce was born on April 7, 1922, to the late Durham Holden and Rachel Linner Outlaw of Lenoir County. She is survived by a daughter, Sandra Noble Stokes and her husband J. Adger Stokes, of Annapolis, MD; a son, Kenneth Ray Noble, II of Louisiana; four grandchildren, Bryce Stokes Grow and husband Ian Grow, of Annapolis, MD, Suzanne Adger Stokes and husband Brycen Justus Erbe, of Annapolis, MD, Kenneth Ray Noble III and wife Jessica Canaan Noble, of Boca Raton, FL, Robert Joseph Noble and wife Lacy Baldwin Noble, of Richmond, VA. Bryce is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, Charlotte Wesley Grow, Ainsley Catherine Grow and Hudson Stokes Grow of Annapolis, MD, Raleigh Justus Erbe and Penelope Adger Erbe, also of Annapolis, MD, Harrison Lyons Noble and Robert Baldwin Noble of Richmond, VA, and Lillian Grace Noble of Boca Raton, FL. She graduated from Trenton High School and married at the outset of America's entry into WWII. Throughout her life, her first calling was always her role as wife and mother. In this capacity, she pursued many pastimes that tapped into her creative side. Whether in her home or gardening, her pursuits always reflected her love of beauty. Within the community, Bryce was a member of the Lenoir County Historical Society and an active member of the First Baptist Church of Kinston throughout her adult life. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, December 15th, at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church of Kinston. The family will receive friends in the church parlor prior to the service.
