We are deeply saddened to announce the passing of Joseph Matthews, who was born on July 18, 1980, in Washington DC, District of Columbia, United States. Joseph peacefully departed this life on May 11, 2025. He is survived by his beloved mother, Brenda Dancy (Deceased).

Joseph leaves behind a legacy of love and family. He is remembered by his four children: Joseph X Matthews, Diamonte Lucas, Johonn Matthews, and JoMiah Matthews. He is also survived by four grandchildren. As a dedicated employee of Unity Medical Care, Joseph made a lasting impact on his colleagues and patients.

Joseph's funeral service will be held on June 2, 2025, at a location organized by the family. In his free time, Joseph enjoyed playing in a band and cherished the moments spent with his loved ones. His warm smile and kind heart will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
