Johnny Bell was born on Feburary 2, 1946 in Leesburg, Georgia ( Lee County). He was born to Daisy L. Williams and Jake Bell.

In his youth, Johnny attended Lee County Training High School. He relocated to Illinois in 1966 living with his sister Doshie Gills. During that time Johnny joined numerous bowling leagues. He became a very good bowler and, received numerous awards. He bowled until his health begin to fail.

Later in life Johhny attended Love Ministires Center in Calumet City. Under the leadership of Rev. Richard Griffis. Johnny worked diligently as Deacon until his health no longer allowed him to continue.

In 1988, Johnny met the love of his life Margaret and they married on August 16, 1990. They lived in Broadview, Illinois with there two children, Charles and Paris Bell.

Johnny began to work for R Olson Construction Company where a great frienship was etasblsihed between him and the owner Ben Olson along with a host of other great friends. He retried from the company in August of 2019.

After retiring Johnny relocated to San Tan Valley, Arizona to reunite with his wife and family leaving loving memories.

Johnny was a loving man and he always had a great story to tell. He loved bowling and making others laugh.

Johnny legacy will continue through his wife of 31 years, Margaret. his children, Charles and Paris Bell (Arizona), his stepson Matthew Nichols (Arizona) his sibilings Doshie Gills (Illinois), Lester Bell, Daisy Forte, Major Bell, Reverend David Bell, Jo Ann Bell, Susie Reynolds (Georgia) and Beatrice Brown (Mississippi). He also leaves a host of other relatives, dear friends, and colleagues. And, his special loving friends the Olson family.
