John White Sr. was born in Chicago, Illinois on December 18, 1942.

He married Gigi Tolson and they lived together in Chicago, Illinois. Together they raised 1 child John White. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren. John was a loving, sincere, nurturing father and grandfather. John has fulfilled his purpose in life which was to have a family. Indeed, as John was creating a loving strong family, he also was suffering from cancer. He fought this illness until he passed July 22, 2021. John was an independent and genuine family man that will never be forgotten. Forever in our hearts, we will live and love each other in John's name.
