The family will receive friends on Wednesday, Feb 15, 2017 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Sykes Funeral Home and Thursday, Feb 16, 2017 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am.John passed away on Monday, Feb 13, 2017 in Nashville. He was born on Sep 16, 1939 in Fairmont, WV to John Franklin Anderson Sr. and Lena Anderson Meredith. He was an a veteran of the US Army, where he served two tours in Vietnam and was a bronze star medal recipient. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a daughter, Reva Woods and two sisters; Vivian Barr Skaggs and Helen Ice Prince.
