Jessie Lee Clemons was born August 29, 1948, In Chicago Illinois to Rosie and Jesse Clemons who proceeded
her in death. Jessie was the oldest sister of five siblings. Jessie accepted
Christ at an early age and would visit her church home occasionally before her
health started to take a toll on her.

Jessie Graduated
from Wescott elementary school, she received her diploma from Parker jr.
Highschool. She was the Matriarch of the family while her mom and dad worked
daily to provide for them Jessie took on the lead as the mom for her 3
brothers and 1 sister, Jessie focused on taking care of her siblings and
focused on her schooling to become Nurse.

Jessie went on to
finish her schooling and became a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) For many years she
worked at several different hospitals, and when her youngest son Eric got sick
Jessie decided to Retire from her career and focus on taking care of her disabled
son. Jessie was Full of life and Brought happiness and joy to anyone she came across she was always
very upfront and Honest Even if you did not agree with her, she would always
“tell it like it is”.

Jessie loved to Sew and Crochet all her life she would
make little items for each member of her family to show them her skills. One
year she even made all the ornaments to go on the Christmas tree. Jessie loved
her family dearly and would do any and everything to make sure that she kept
them happy. Jessie loved her favorite food, Chinese food Make sure you do not forget to get her egg drop
soup or you would have to go all the way back to get it if you forgot it, also she
liked taco salads from her favorite spot near her house she would always take
the kids and go up there to get food.

In 2005 Jessie married Marlon Cheeks and they were together for almost 25 years before even
getting married and one day out of the blue Jessie and Marlon went down to the courthouse
and gotten married without letting anybody know till they got back and shocked
the whole family with the marriage. Jessie and Marlon never had any kids
together. All Jessie's kids came from her prior relationships, after spending
those years together Marlon passed who proceeded her in death in 2018.

Jessie was very
family orientated and she loved her family. She was a protector and took her
family very seriously. She loved her children and grandchildren she would try to spend as
much time as she would with them before her health failed. Jessie would always
say Do not worry when I am gone I will always and forever be in your hearts.

God called Jessie
home Wednesday, February 26, 2021, She leaves to
cherish her memory and love Her Four Siblings: Katherine, Grandberry Bryant, Robert, and Roy
Clemons Four children
Christopher (Sherri), Eric proceeded her in death, Brian Oakley
(Kelly) Jessica Clemons (larnell) Grandchildren Lakeshia,
Shanice Brooklyn Omarion Brian jr., Lamya & Madison A host of nieces
and nephews and friends and additional family that will always love and miss
Jessie.

Jessie requested to be cremated and will have
a private home going. Her remains will be spread at a private location per her
request.
