"Be at peace, not in pieces"

Jason Gillard was an intelligent, loving, caring person that cared for others.

He loved sports and his favorite team was the Vikings regardless of if they won or lost. Another one of his favorite teams was the Minnesota Timberwolves. His favorite player of all time was Kevin Garnett. Jason played basketball and was very good at it. He graduated from high school and went straight to community college to become an electrician. His goal was to become an electrician journeyman.

All Jason wanted in life was for people to become equal and love each other for whom they were and trust or gain trust in each other. Jason attended a lot of local community meetings to come to a conclusion to stop the violence in certain neighborhoods and to preach the word to individuals that were in bad situations to live and overcome their situations.

Jason survived by his wife, Melissa; and two daughters, Aminah, Jamie, along with many friends and family members.
