James Copeland was born March 19, 1952 in Rockford, IL to Arllisa Everett . He was 67 years in age at the time of his passing and the oldest of three children.

He married the love of his life, Peggy Walker; they were blessed to share 18 years of love and 13 wonderful years in marriage. James greatest love was God, his kids, and his wife.
