In Loving Memory

Harold "Wayne" Neugebauer, 79, of Oklahoma City, OK went home to be with the Lord on April 14th, 2020 in Harlingen TX, after a valiant battle with heart failure.

Wayne was born on July 19th, 1940 to Henry and Elsie Neugebauer in Manitou, OK.  After graduating from Manitou HS in 1959, he served in the USAF during the Vietnam war.

He married the love of his life, Donna McMasters, on February 7th, 1970. He was a hard working family man who enjoyed the outdoors more than anything. After his retirement from UPS,  they were able to enjoy RVing with old friends while making many more new ones and they had the time of thier lives.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Elsie, brother Roy, sister Shirley, wife Donna and son Steven.

He is survived by two daughters, Kindra and husband Chuck Brown of Oklahoma City, OK, Melissa Cook of Del City, OK, and one son, Marc Neugebauer and fiance Raeangela of Wichita KS,  eleven grandchildren, Chad, Lindsay, Taylor, Danny Wayne, Brandon, Megan, Chelsea, Kyle, Ashlyn, Anthony and Christopher.  He also had eight great grandchildren, Kendal, Kora, Katy, Hannah, Karsyn, Karter, Oakley and Chloe

After the passing of his beloved wife Donna, in 2008, he was able to find his place as a "winter Texan" in Port Isabel TX, where he learned to enjoy life again with so many great friends. He got to enjoy his retirement and live life his way.   Special thanks to his long time best friend, Jim Hayes.  They enjoyed so many good times and memories through the years and saw each other through the hard times as well.  He is family.

Date of memorial to honor his life will be planned and announced as OKC restrictions allow for friends and family to gather.  A celebration of life will also be planned in Port Isabel for all his South Texas friends.

He was truly a great and Godly man, a wonderful son, husband, father, grandfather and friend and he will be missed by all who knew and loved him

You can to the family or in memory of Harold Neugebauer.
