Gregory Carroll, 30, of Baltimore, Maryland, passed on October 22, 2022. Gregory was born on January 11, 1992.GREGORY JAMES CARROLL JR., the son of Ericka Renea Harris and Gregory James Carroll Sr., was born on January 11, 1995. Gregory gained his heavenly wings on October 22, 2022. Gregory was educated in the Baltimore County Public School System. Gregory was baptized at St. Ambrose Catholic Church at a very young age then converted to Islam . “Lil Greg” or “Bump”, as he was affectionately called by his family, was loved beyond measure by all who knew him. His mother, Ericka, had a special bond with her firstborn. Bump frequently said his mom would always be his First Lady. Likewise, his father, Gregory, was especially proud of his namesake and has been patiently awaiting his son’s arrival in Heaven for nine months. Lil Gregory was the apple of his grandparents’ eyes. There was nothing that Pop Pop Elijah and MaMa Squeakie would not do for him. From day one, Gregory had them wrapped around his fingers, especially his Pops. Gregory loved to play video games and had an ongoing rivalry with his little brother, Mekhi about who was the best at 2K. Whenever they were together, it was ON! Gregory had the gift of gab and could converse with anyone on any topic. Gregory was an outstanding employee who knew the different facets of his job as an Inventory Specialist. His latest employment was at Chase Brexton Health Services. We truly thank God for these 30 years that He allowed us to love Gregory. Although our hearts are broken, we know Gregory is free from worry and safe in the arms of our Savior. Gregory was preceded in death by his father, Gregory James Carroll, Sr. and maternal grandparents, Carolyn Cooper and Cornell Harris. Gregory leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Ericka Harris and stepfather Ramon Franklin Sr.; brothers, Mekhi Franklin, Brandon James, Michael Carroll. sisters, Asia Carroll and Kelly Carroll his paternal grandparents, Bertha Carroll-Prince and Elijah Prince; stepbrother, Ramon Franklin Jr. and stepsisters, Stephanie Franklin, Kiera Franklin and Briyona Franklin; two uncles, Michael Ingram and Rodney Carroll; aunt, DeShawn Carroll; godparents, Danielle and Shawn Robinson; special cousins, Rhonae Carroll, Monique James, Rikki James, Dez Carroll, Chanel James DaBria Carroll and Shadaya Cox; and a host of loving aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
