Glen's Legacy ...
Glen David Denton ( affectionately known as Puddin), was born on September 21, 1953 in Memphis, TN, to the late John David Denton and Rosie Lee Denton-Moore. He was the oldest of five children, one brother who preceded him in death. Glen graduated from Melrose, class of 1971. He also accepted Christ at an early age at Oakville Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev.H. H. Thompson. Glen transitioned to his Heavenly home on March 22, 2021. He was an affectionate and loyal employee for 25years at the Memphis Country Club until his health failed in 2005. He leaves his cherished memories of his adoring wife, Linda, of 12 years. His five daughters: Valerie and Anglea Mason, Tracy Denton, Tina Parrish, and Tiki Bradley, along with two sons: Anthony (Sherrilyn) and Rosavelt Mason Jr.. Seven granddaugthers: Asia, Tierney, Brittany, Markala, Jaha, Deja, Kaya, and twograndsons: Mailk and Calvin. Twosisters: Loretta Denton and Cheryl Neal and one brother: Dewanye Denton (Juanita). Rev. Eugene Mackey and Edward Denton, a special cousin and uncle, who always visited along with a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews.
