Gerald “Jerry” Miceli born in Toronto Canada, August 19, 1938, passed away on April 1^st 2019.  Jerry is survived by his wife of 46 years, Ave Maria, and by his four children, Andrea, Jay, Ave. and Monica. Jerry was a beloved grandfather, known as “Pop-Pop” and will be missed by his eleven grandchildren, and one great grand-baby.   He leaves behind his best friend and Brother Michael Miceli, and his wife Anna Marie.  

A proud Toronto native, Jerry spent many years in Long Branch, New Jersey. Everywhere he went he always met a familiar face. His brother was a Jockey and Jerry loved being near the track, he worked at Monmouth Park for thirty years. After retiring, he enjoyed hanging out with the guys at Enzo’s mechanic shop.   Jerry was a connoisseur of local Italian American cuisine, he had the best spot for whatever you were looking for, but ultimately nothing compared to the baby beef sandwiches in Toronto!

Introduced to film by his mother Maria at the tender age of 5, Jerry loved movies, and he enjoyed sharing his love of movies with his family, there was not a single movie he couldn’t tell you everything about, sometimes it was tough not to get a few spoilers though!   

He will be dearly missed by all who knew him, Jerry was surrounded by the love of his family and through them his legacy lives on.
