Geneva Bouton, 98, of Dallas, Texas, passed on November 30, 2021. Geneva was born on December 25, 1923 to the late Bob and Nora Sons Cyree. Geneva and her husband Donald traveled many places through the years, and even though they lived in Texas, she loved visiting her Tennessee relatives. Family meant everything to Geneva and she was never happier than when her kids, grandkids, and great-grandchildren crowded into her home and shared the holidays together. To her, every day was her favorite if the kids and grandkids were there! Geneva never forgot her southern roots. She was abundantly loved, and will be greatly missed. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Bouton is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 50 years, Donald Bouton; one daughter, Kay Martin; three grandchildren, Jamie and Timothy Daugherty, and Michael Martin; four brothers, Junior, Fred, Bill, and Robert Cyree; and three sisters, Mattie, Lena, and Emma Howard. She is survived by three sons; Leon Daugherty of Tullahoma; Lee Daugherty and his wife Catherine of Tullahoma, and Ray Bouton of Pekin, IL; one daughter, Donna Hittle and her husband Jim of Princeville, IL; 14 grandchildren, Denise Hershkowitz and her husband Stuart of Inverness, FL, Leah Matthews of Morrilton, AR, Steven Daugherty of Shelbyville, Bryan Daugherty and his wife Eileen of LaMirada, CA. Jill Daugherty of Denver, CO, Rob Daugherty of Northport, AL, Michael Daugherty and his wife Melissa of Northport, AL, Shawn Bouton and his wife Jessica of Pekin, IL, Heather Anderson and her husband Michael of Mackinaw, IL, Keri and Jamie Hittle of Princeville, IL, Ed Martin of Sparland, IL, Richard Martin of Farmington, MO, and Kim Martin of Peoria, IL; 26 great-grandchildren, Allie Daugherty, LeAnn Jording of Browntown, WI, Alan McKinney of Springfield, IL, Jolynn Lorraine of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Jordan Lorraine of Green Bay, WI, Elizabeth Daugherty of Peoria, IL, Tyler Matthews of Morrilton, AR, Payton and Katie Daugherty of Shelbyville, Danny and his wife Brittany of Lacon, IL, Chris Daugherty and his wife Amber of Whittier, CA, Abbey Daugherty of Reno, NV, Rachel and Sean Daugherty of LaMirada, CA, Tayler Daugherty of  Northport, AL, Keegan and Aubrey Bouton of Pekin, IL, Kelci, Mason and Sophie Anderson of Mackinaw, IL, Kaitlyn, Bryson, and Evan Weir of Princeville, IL, Cody Hittle of GA, and Kayleanna and Braiden Hittle of Lincoln, IL; four great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Walter D. Cyree of Tullahoma; her baby sister, Jewel Snyder of Huntsville, AL; and many nieces and nephews. Visitation for Mrs. Bouton will be held on Thursday, December 9th from 10-12pm at Singing Hills Funeral Home. A memorial service will immediately follow at 12:15pm in the Singing Hills Chapel.
