Esther Simpson , 72, of Brooklyn, New York, passed on May 12, 2022. Esther was born on January 01, 1950 In Kingston Jamaica to Marisol Lee and Lascelles Thompson. Esther transitioned to be with the Lord on May 12, 2022 surrounded by family.

When Esther was just 12 years old her family migrated to the United states to live in a small apartment in Brooklyn.
Esther moved out at 17 after marrying her husband Donald Simpson and birthing 4 children, Patricia Simpson, Donald Simpson jr, Cheryl Simpson, and Sydney Simpson . Her pride and joy were her grandchildren Andre Redd, Nadine Simpson, Simone Simpson, and Ashley Redd who she adopted from birth and raised as her own until her death.
Esther loved balancing family life and her job at A&S where she worked as a store manager until retirement. She loved cooking and would create recipes that her daughters and granddaughters still use today.

Esther is preceded in death by her Parents, sister Renee, brother Leroy, her husband Donald, and daughter Patricia Simpson. She leaves behind her children, grand children and great grandchildren and a host of extenfed family and friends from Jamaica to the United States
