Emmanuel Marcus McKinney, 43 of Macon, Georgia passed away on August 26, 2020. Emmanual was born in Macon, Georgia on January 15, 1977. He graduated from Central High School and continued his education a Central Georgia Technical College where he received an Associate Degree in Barbering.

Emmanuel was married to Monica P. McKinney (Williams) on July 20, 2001; they were married for 19 years.

Emmanuel worked as a barber at a local barber shop in Macon, Georgia for over 15 years. He enjoyed cutting hair and giving back to the community. He was actively involved in coaching AAU travel basketball for many years and was a dedicated to all the young black youth in the community.

Emmanuel is survived by his mother Mrs. Thelma Brown-Williams of Macon, Georgia ; wife Monica, two children Ashley and Dominique McKinney of Macon, Georgia ; 3 brothers Richard McKinney of Paducah Kentucky, Freddie McKinney of Macon, Georgia , and Tremaine McKinney of Newport News Virgina; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.

The family would like to thank Middle Georgia Basketball Academy, Macon Barber Association, and the thoughtful friends of the community for supporting them in this time of grief.
